What a pleasure to photograph this lovely family on Cape Cod! When I came for little Eli’s newborn session, he was just 15 days old–but already strong beyond his tender age. He was a champion, giving us some calm and alert attention, then falling deeply asleep so we could cozy him into a few sweet newborn positions.
Big brother Jacob is 15 months old. He shares the same blue, blue eyes, so I think it’s safe to say they’re going to stick around–not just baby-blues on these two. The picture of Jacob crawling up to baby Eli is my absolute favorite from the session. These brothers are definitely going to be close in more than just their ages and eye colors!
Their mommy also joined in the photo session, and it’s pretty obvious where the boys got their looks! She was the picture of serenity, already managing a calm and happy household just couple of weeks into her new life with two small children. An inspiration to me (as I wait for my second one to arrive) to be sure!
